Thoughts on the 2023 CTR?

Faced this weird behaviour from Optum recently. Gave interview for Data Scientist position. HR said feedback is positive. Asked for documents. It's been month now since I have shared the documents. I have no update on the offer. Today I called HR, she called me back saying the position is on hold due to recalibration in team, She has shared interview feedbacks to other teams and will get back to me in couple of days. I am clueless now. My last working day is approaching (In a month). Any Help??

Agree with removing noncompetes for healthcare workers. Noncompetes benefit employers not patients.
I would like to see it banned nationwide. This promotes subpar treatment from the employer to the employee. It also discourages a free market where an individual may choose to grow in another place close to their home/family when circumstances are not what were expected. Most of negotiations end up as "hey we all share the same restrictions" so any further discussion may end up by not having a job at all, despite qualifications.
This is not a controversial issue. The intent and effects of noncompete clauses are very clear. Their express purpose is to give leverage to employers at the expense of the employees. It's pretty easy to undervalue your employees if they're literally banned from making a living when they leave. The only reason they're still legal is because big businesses (including hospitals) have huge lobby power.
They need banned!
