The cutest trio 😊

Im not searching for a new job but an acquaintance reached out about a similar role at a similar energy company.Turns out 2 ppl threw my name in the hat. I looked into it and the position was posted 2 weeks ago.Their director wants to meet.I bet pay is one of the first things to be discussed so that no one’s time is wasted.Am I crazy for not wanting to entertain it for less than 20-25% base pay increase? Is it selfish to ask for more? I’m sure most salary conversations end in negotiation anyways?
Hello Sharks, Hope all are doing good,
I am a associate java developer having knowledge and experience on Java, Spring mvc, Spring boot, Hibernate, MySQL. Recently I have joined another IT company. The surprising thing is they are providing training on Scala Programming language .I don't have any knowledge about Scala Programming, Slick and Postgresql. Is Scala developer having good future and demand. Can I better to try for other company to stay in java technology only. EY Infosys Cognizant

... also, are they just going through these motions to see who is going to keep going on in compliance, and who is going to walk out - hoping to eliminate some with the decision process?
Project Coordinator 1 - But have you had to take tests on your writing skills such as grammar, spelling and ability to write? For some reason there is no option to reply to your comment.
As a copywriter, I find it quite annoying and frustrating that I have to constantly take assessment tests that have to do with math and logical reasoning. Many of these tests ask you to determine which shape comes next after a series of shapes. I was never good at this stuff, hence why I write for a living. Yet they don't ask me to take a test on my grammar and punctuation. And at the same time I do not know a single engineer who has ever had to take these tests let alone a writing test so why am I being forced to? Its aggravating.

Since it’s a buyers market when it comes to the job hunt, companies are able to look for that unicorn. It slows the process down, but since so much people are looking for work, they’re willing to take that risk. I say it depends on the role, when it comes down to it.
I was asked to take a cognitive assessment over Good Friday weekend. To me that that’s a red flag to give somebody an assessment. That’s already stressful on a holiday weekend when you’re meant to be relaxing and be with family.
Hello! Can someone inform me on how to switch your resume in this system?
I’ve had to take a personality test - they said my personality type and the executive I’d be reporting to were the same and we would not be compatible.
