Go to SAFC games, hang out with friends, bar hop.
Second this. SAFC is on fire this year. Looking like a good spurs season too. Can’t forget those Roadrunners 🏈🏈🏈
Welcome to town (I assume)! Without knowing what you like here are some options - For art - Hopscotch, Ruby City, Artpace, SAMA, McNay are a few. The Pearl typically has events going on during the week and a farmers market on the weekends. Biking the mission reach is nice when the weather is good. Hiking at Freidrich wilderness or Eisenhower park. San Fernando has a light show art thing reflected on to the cathedral a couple times a week. Can hit Esquire bar before that (home of the longest wooden bar in TX 😆). This website typically has some event options / goings on as well - https://do210.com/events/today
Hope this helps!
Thanks for that, cool stuff!
Nothing. San Antonio sucks
F outta here.
Assuming you’re coming from a more “city” city, Austin or some hub from outside of TX. SA is more of a huge small town. Gotta make friends first IMO. I always suggest SA Young Professionals or plugging into your Uni’s local alumni chapter. I’ve made a few new friends playing golf at the San Pedro Par 3
What is the SA young professionals. I see it posted on social media, but honestly doesn’t look attractive enough to go… maybe I’m being too judgmental on the graphic, but i am trying to convince myself to go! What people have you met there?
Obviously, look into the Pearl. If you want to see the Alamo, drive past it and down to the missions instead. Visit Southtown for some food and beverages.
Rent an ebike or scooter and ride about downtown. A fantastic way to view the city. On weekends, downtown is rather lively. There are a lot of folks out and about having a good time.
