Another suggestion I highly recommend in case you aren’t able to work is visiting your school’s financial aid website and applying to all the scholarships you qualify for and do that every semester throughout college. Most students don’t apply so the money ends up sitting there in FULL. I just learned this recently and wish I had applied to more scholarships when I was a student

Places are hiring all over town. Make some applications and go on interviews.

Get your certificate to serve drinks, and find a bartending job.

I agree. You can make BANK working as a bartender.

In addition to working part time, have you tried applying for a student loan? Go to studentaid.gov

This is what I did as well just to help me get by in college.

Working on some law firm applications tonight and it sucks that I know that I am so capable and have a strong work ethic but firms can’t see beyond grades or the fact that I didn’t go to a t14 law school or prestigious undergrad. I’ve worked twice as hard and feel like I’ve barely even gotten half as much. It’s discouraging sometimes especially because I worked so hard with pretty much no guidance (first gen, poc, low-income) to get into college and do well and then get into a t30 law school
