I can’t take meds at all because of other conditions. I have to deal with bad brain days as they come, but I’ve found that learning the right coping strategies (meticulous lists, automating whatever you can to make your work-life easier — from house cleaners to meal services to dog walkers, gamifying work, finding the “right” ways to get dopeamine like working out). At the end of the day, it’s about reinforcing habits and not giving yourself an out because of your diagnosis.
You are not your diagnosis. It’s a part of you that you learn how to manage when it’s destructive (inattention) and leverage when it helps (hyperfixation).

Yeah. It’s not even high reward tasks. It’s high reward overall projects. I can go through tasks like a machine once I understand how everything fits together. But when you know that what you’re working on is just because, it’s not very moving.
My psychologist recommended 4 fish oil pills a day. Arazo nutrition. I am not sure how effective this actually is, plus fish oil has gotten a bad rap recently.

I have a family yesterday of all that, but it’s all environmental/diet/lifestyle. Workout, eat healthy, take the meds.
