That's how it is pretty much everywhere I've worked. There's a fundamental disconnect between management and the people doing the work because they have two different goals. We're trying to take care of patients and our mental health; they're trying to operate as cheaply - sorry, "efficiently" 🙄 - as possible. Those two rarely overlap, and when it comes down to it, the bottom line is always going to win out. I don't blame you all for being frustrated. I'd rather they just own up to the fact they don't care than make some grand show of improving things only for nothing to change.
A month isn’t a lot of time to make changes. If this is something that constantly happens, I can definitely understand the frustration. Why make everyone give their time if they will just ignore it?
Don't expect change from leadership, change yourself for the best!
