Strat consultants: work performance Remote vs In-Office. Do you find you are able to perform better in an office as there are less ways you can procrastinate or relax than at home?

Currently a paralegal at a small start up financial services company been there for just a little over a year. I wear “multiple hats” but more recently I’ve done a lot of PM work and some BA work. My position title is changing soon but I’m wondering how helpful that would be for wanting to go into PM work at a tech company. Anyone have any career pivot advice? I have been offered from NTT data and a week ago they gave me a call to check if i can join early.. i said i am ok to join early if NTT is ready for buyout. They said they will come back on it and a day ago i can see that the recruiter has posted a job opening in naukri with the similer set of experience with what i have and i am little skeptical that will they revoke my offer. The job opening is posted by the same recruiter who has recruited me and looking for people who can join within 30 days

Back in May 2021, I rented a property that had sustained damage during the big snow storm. This wasn't disclosed at lease signing. The home leaked every time it rained, mold was found in the home & the LL failed to make repairs that resulted in me falling down a flight of stairs. I just want to say to the Indian managers / SMs etc. stop taking everything so seriously and stressing people out on your teams. I have had managers who put initiative work so high in importance that it stresses me out about client work. Chill out and stop emailing on weekends. Hang out with your families! Doesn’t mean don’t work hard but chill the heck out people. Clearly this is just a job that doesn’t pay you well enough in the first place why are you stressing other people out too?!
