My first law firm had a prominent litigation practice and every resource you could imagine for litigation.
I really appreciate that now that I’ve worked at other firms where litigation is a small part of their work, and you have to fight for paralegal time.
So many! From the small to the large. Most were likely typical of BigLaw, like a 24-hour document center and a dedicated clerk’s office for handling all aspects of filing. Perhaps more on the extreme end were resources like a charter plane service that could deliver hard-copy filings by a court deadline (used more before e-filing became the norm).
