The best machine is the one you want to use and will use most often. Period. Rower. Peloton. Spin Bike. Treadmill. Pick the one you’re excited to use.
Body weight exercises, jump road, and HIIT. Really gets your key muscle groups back into a healthy form and burns lots of calories. Finish with a walk and jog interval.
DDP Yoga App- has everything from exercises in bed, chair, beginner, advanced.

Walking is great, I start my day with a long walk and it sets the tone for the rest of the day. Its something I can easily be consistent with and has helped with my weight loss (balanced with nutrition). Peloton digital membership is only $13, they have a ton of classes, you can do yoga, strength training etc. Buy a mat, and some weights, 5lb, 10-15lb, and resistance bands. Eventually you can work your way up to a bike, Peloton or Echelon, both great. Classes are awesome.
I got the peloton. It’s helpful because you do it on your own time. You can do spin, strength, yoga, Pilates, barre, run, etc.
I have a Concept2 rower. Yes, there's a bit of a learning curve in terms of form, but it's an amazing workout and there are tons of videos/support forums for rowing. If you decide to move forward with it, just know you'll be starting out with extremely short sessions to begin with - totally normal!
Don't spend the money - stick with things you can do without a $ attached to it. Unless you are motivated by money and would push yourself harder to get the value from the purchase then do it.
Losing weight isn't that hard - it's eating the right way and something as simple as walking a few times a day can change everything about your body composition. I want to say 10k steps is maybe 1 hr of walking a day. Break it up 15 minutes quick walks outside can help you hit that targey easily and then build from there.
I loveee fasting - do some research on it and try to do 6-8 hr's and then increase as your body gets use to it. My family has a history of cancer and lots of studies published on fasting and allowing our bodies to rest and fight cancer cells/areas of concern of our body happen during those resting points that just can't happen with us eating so often. It's really changed my life and I hope at the very least I'm changing my body long term to not be diagnosed with something more serious.
Good luck!!! You got this! 🙏
