What do you like to put on the agenda for a kick-off with a new client? The project is a website design and the main clients are professional artists. I don’t want to bore them with all process and strategy discussion slides but also we need that stuff to get started.

I'm not sure what else I did other than being respectful and not giving flip at the same time but (4) mature ladies in my office flirt with me every chance they get. Some of my M colleagues are beginning to notice and giving the prod. I must confess it comes with some perks as I do appreciate how fast they process my requests/orders which a M colleague literally told me is biased. Recently one of them offered to bring me her cooked food and asked that I do the same..(Cont'd)

I just started an agency with a strategy partner. We are looking for good examples of small agencies that are positioning themselves around strategy, brand, and advertising capabilities in clear and interesting ways. Who’s standing out and doing it right?

Agency-consultancy that’s had a terrific first three years. We are considering buying our way into the next round of growth, but not quite sure how to put out feelers without being too forward.

Suggestions/ideas?

Who in the agency would you say has the ultimate responsibility to come up with the agency’s pricing & services model? Biz Dev? Finance? Ops? Project Management? Other? (Context: we have an ongoing issue where a biz dev / accounts person will eagerly be coming up with half-baked solutions for a prospective client, and it always feels like a cluster F when they want to know what resources, budget, and time we need in order to execute said service - which they thought of in the first place!)

Hi All. Looking for thoughts on vertical expertise and whether it’s just a good sales tool or whether anyone has considered structuring the company in this format because it drives stronger work? I’ve always been fairly anti vertical because I think it stifles ideas and thinking, but you can always have people that specialize that you pull in when having bespoke industry knowledge can help. What do others think? Do clients want this from their partners?

All of us who have decided to leave the big stage and carve out a piece of the pie for ourselves this is where we join efforts and help each other with what we’ve learned and how to be better

I get an email or a LinkedIn post from a company that promises to fill my pipeline with leads probably three times a week. I’m wondering if anyone has used one of these services and can provide a recommendation?
