Same!

My Iphone! I think investing in a good phone and laptop is the most useful luxury spend as it is not only a necessity but a good phone just makes everything simpler.

Agreed and often an overlooked luxury!

Tbh a lot of mine are kitchen-related, which I think shows my age haha. I got an air fryer and also a nice chopper which has made cooking a lot easier. I also got myself a nice fancy set of pans that has made cooking a lot more fun

I just bought a Roomba. Trying to get it set up was a pain but it's doing its first round right now and I feel like it was worth the cost and the initial set up headache.

Awesome, wife and I have one and really like it!

Renting a nicer place or living a nice location, makes coming home from work so much more pleasant

Agree 100%!

If it's making my life so much easier, I see it as a necessity lol. But I guess recently I splurged on an office chair. I love it, its so comfortable and definitely makes my days much better. I also bought some plants, they were the expensive easyplants that water themselves. So expensive but so worth it for a forgetful caretaker like me :)

That’s a cool perspective!

I’ve suffered from workaholism for a long time. Thanks to a lot of great self help books and therapy, I’m no longer putting work on a pedestal and I’m spending a lot more time on self care and my marriage. But, unfortunately, I am now getting withdrawals, because my body is used to the daily adrenaline of throwing myself into work. It’s this terrible feeling of like anguish/unease in my gut, but I don’t have anything I’m worried about- it’s like my body wants to find something to worry about.

Happy Wednesday everyone. I'm so excited, I have a recruiter call scheduled with @Meta for Administrative Partner position. I've been in my current employer role for 19 years and I'm nervous as heck. I haven't had to do an interview in so long. Can someone please tell me what to expect with the recruiter call? I'm assuming it will be mostly about the role, my skills and background? Do they ask salary expectations? I have no idea what to say for the salary question. Feedback appreciated. Thanks
