My friend is a .NET resource and has 12+ yrs experience all in Infy. Gets about 10lpa including variable. And with 90 days notice period, he is not even getting a single call for interview.

It is a meagre salary. He is frustrated and looking for a stable company(as he has a family), good pay and basically a good place to work.

Is .NET a dying tech? What should one do to get out of a situation like this. Any suggestion is appreciated.

What are the chances they will extend an offer letter ?
Also what should be the Expected Fixed pay, currently drawing fixed pay as close to 21 lakh.

Has anyone recently gone back into banking? I am thinking about going back because of the increase in comp and opportunity to work at a top BB. I was a boutique ib analyst for 2 yrs and currently a LMM PE firm 1st year associate.

Got an offer at a boutique firm, they are offering mid-100k (3 YOE, but I’m retooling). Great opportunity (like, I really love everything about it), and I’m prepared to take a pay cut, but the salary seems especially low. Any insight into what talent-side boutiques are offering in high COL areas (LA, NY)?

In need of some advice. I’m a 1st year at a small firm (5 people, I’m 1 of 2 attorneys) representing lenders. There’s been no training of any sort - all on the fly. There’s a few issues: a demanding & condescending partner, a two-faced paralegal that constantly points out even minor mistakes directly to said partner, below-market salary, and a 1.5 hour commute each way. Should I leave? I love RE law, but do I need to get more experience before making a switch? Any guidance would be helpful.
