I just received a verbal offer at a VC and am now just waiting for my contract/compensation details to come through. People say to never accept your first offer, but I am aware that I’m pretty unqualified compared to their normal hire (I’m a “culture fit”). It’s a dream role & a dream company. How hard should I push for compensation?

Guys! How do you set salary expectations on remote roles? Some companies base their range on the location of the applicants, but I think that’s not fair. I want to work remote from wherever I want and have a market fair pay. Am I missing something?

Hi, Recently got offer from Cognizant and now filling the BGV details. I completed my MCA in 3.6 years whereas actual course duration is 3 year. I passed the first round of interview at a t2 firm in the Middle East but they put changing the time for final round interview. It has been more than two months and my final round slot still cannot be confirmed. They say that it is because of Christmas time and things. Is this normal?

How would you answer the question Why McKinsey in the Middle East in interviews?
To me, it does not seem straight-forward.
For instance, international staffing, McKinsey’s most distinctive feature does not really exist in the Middle East. Consultants must work in the Middle East first and can only work from time to time out of the region as opposed to other offices which are more open.
