When people don’t reply “You’re welcome” to my emails saying “Thanks.”
People who think there’s “email etiquette”.
It really grinds my gears when opposing counsel leaps directly from calling me by my first name to suddenly addressing me as ‘Counsel.’ It’s like, wow, that escalated quickly! There’s a whole spectrum of professional courtesy we just skipped over.…

This is nitpicky, but too formal punctuation.
When it comes to work product, I am the biggest stickler for grammar there could be. But not in emails.
I think grammar is all about social norms. And every platform has them, whether it’s this app, Twitter, or otherwise. And I think if you can’t stick to social norms with email it’s just kind of grating.
You people care too much
