I’m actively considering a CFO role for a non-client in the industry I am well known in. Considering it for money (2.25x what I am now) plus different challenges
I do like it. Just done it long enough that that chapter may be time to close….
Could be that they are retiring, have better deals elsewhere, or that company will be on the news soon lol

Usually it’s rare for partners to leave but it does happen. I know during Covid some received early retirement packages and occasionally they will leave for better opportunities just like with any job. One thing to remember is not all partners are equal. Ones in leadership positions make significantly more then others so I’m sure some will leave if not being given those opportunities.
