Had an interview today, for RN OnCall position. This is an extremely difficult position, but I bring not only a preference to work the hours they need but the experience and credentials to qualify for the upper range of the salary (RN, MSN, CHPN, 5 years hospice experience). I asked for the range and he gave the range then immediately stated that I would qualify for mid range. However I’m having a crisis of faith right now. I’m appalled and embarrassed by the way in which the Catholic Church in America (where I now live) is IMO unashamedly political (cont.)

Would you stay living in a city you like but have very few friends there, or move back to your hometown where most of your friends and family are? My current city has a population of about 500k and my hometown is about 100k. My main reason to move away from my hometown was dating and jobs, but neither seem to be going any better over the past 2 years. COL is about 28% higher than my hometown and jobs don’t pay much better.
