I have an offer I want to accept; I was trying to negotiate for a signing bonus… but they’re not budging.

The issue is, the start date is in a month and I’m up for a promotion in a week at my current company. I would like to leave before I get promoted, I think it would be pretty low of me to accept and promptly quit.

I held my first design internship in 12th grade (2016), and have since held at least one internship per semester throughout college, all related to my career path - but they were all part time. Hi, has anyone had this before: been a month sense interview, my online status never changed so I sent a follow up email to the supervisor, within an hour instead of getting a response my online status changed from consideration to pending decision. Is that bad? The hiring manager never responded to me just updated online status, is that a NO? I am so confused and never seen an online status get updated right after a follow up email.

In the recruiter interview I wasn’t asked where I live. The job is with a huge sports wear company in Los Ángeles and I live in Miami. Does not living in the same city not make the hiring manger want to hire you even though I would move to the jobs location ASAP? And if they ask where I live do I say I live in their city? Even though I don’t and it’s a contract position.
