I’m in the ATL office and work with DC office a lot. Top of the market pay, but below market bonus. 1950 requirement with 2050 to be bonus eligible, but again that bonus isn’t top of the market. I have a pretty good work/life, took 4 weeks off this year and no one said anything (granted, had not taken a day off since the pandemic began). Of course also depends on your group, but overall Eversheds is a “follower” in most categories, not really a leader, that to say you still get interesting work and all. And also just very nice people overall in all offices - I have not worked with anyone who was rude, used expletives or did any other horrible thing you hear rumors about on fishbowl

No specifics but I know two people who worked for European offices and said it was an awful experience, starts with the fact that the firm apparently has not invested in a compare software.

ES has made significant investment over the last five years - this includes workshare compare and iManage as their document management system in the last year. That said, the US-arm of ES has its own tech stack so the actual tools may vary.

Hi! I am seeking for an advise, anything helps! I applied to Accenture’s entry level analyst program. I applied a few days ago (I know it’s a bit late, but the application is still open thankfully). Yesterday, I joined a resume workshop w/ an Accenture recruiter. She went through my resume and said that I have a strong one! I’ve also set up a coffee chat w/ her next week. Unfortunately, I got an email today from the system, they decided not to move forward :( Should I reach out to her abt this?

I’m in my 4th year at a small plaintiffs’ firm. Past two years I’ve received meager raises (5k) and terrible bonuses (3k). My boss prides himself on allowing me to gain experience so I have more courtroom experience than most attorneys with twice the experience. As I’ve applied for other firms, I’ve been denied interviews based on how my boss is perceived in the community. I’ve gathered professional references from opposing attorneys and other attorneys we work with but still can’t land. Help

Foreign LLM student here. I plan to take the NY bar exam in February. I’m thinking of taking a bar prep course (most likely Barbri). They offer two options: the “traditional” course (which lasts around 2.5 months) and an extended 6-month course. The difference in price is substantial – 2.5k for the traditional course vs 6k for the extended one. Any thoughts/recommendations on which one I should take? In case it is helpful, I come from a civil law country. Thanks!
