What is the best way to transition from insurance defense to criminal defense? I’ve been working in ID for about a year and have never been more bored in my life. I want to be challenged and do interesting work, but I’m not sure how to get started with no experience. Currently living in Chicago.

The best thing for my anxiety and depression has been admitting to myself I despise my job and career, and likely the corporate world, and that attempting to continue climbing the ladder was causing pretty much all my mental turmoil. Moving up the ladder is a fools errand. Every day my mind was fighting me for trying to get promoted because I knew it was meaningless. So with that said, mental health has been best it’s been in a long time. For anyone else in a similar boat, hope it helps.

I live in Boston, Im 31 yrs old and husband is 33yrs old, and have male fertility(Sperm count, motility, morphology), all my reports are normal, and I’m seeing CCRM Boston from Jan 2022, first IUI cancelled as sperm wash results were not good. So RE suggested IVF and starting the medication from this Aug. I have a manager that does not seem to understand mental illnesses, disorders, etc. He thinks I am making excuses rather than trying to explain things (I have diagnosed ADHD, anxiety, and depression) and I’m trying to take ownership for issues but also help him understand what I am describing better as well.
