Prosecutor?
Yeah, I know prosecutors who haven't written a motion in decades. It's all forms.
Personal injury plaintiffs side is not writing intensive at all.
AA1, what I are MVA and premises cases?

Some context: I currently do insurance defense and hate the writing aspect of it. I loved going to court, conducting depositions, arguing motions, and hopefully one-day trying cases. Covid has magnified the part I hate about the job and taken away the part I love about it. I am looking to make a move that fits my skillset, so I would love your input if you have had this issue.

I feel like a lot of motions I get from insurance defense attorneys could have been avoided with a simple phone call. So in that sense, plaintiff side may be a good switch for you. But we’re often still writing our own motions and responding to motions.
Family law or public defender or prosecutor. Or corporate m&a. Not much legal writing there, but contract writing. Those are different skills.
