Fishbowl need to be appreciated. I have seen so many people asking for help on their personal problems. With this remote culture, it's very necessary that you talk about your problems or atleast you talk about something Observed that people need help but they are afraid to be judged If anyone from fishbowl team reading this I am very thankful to you all Glassdoor Fishbowl Tata Consultancy Accenture Infosys

That SA might have tier 1 mba. For tier 1 mba , all companies have different pay scales than normal. We have a SA in our team , non mba who gets 17 lpa. T1 mba grad is associate with 19 lpa base . So it happens. But as a manager you have way more responsibility and control over the project. If you perform well and become critical to the firm , u can ask for big hike easily

Even if you go to another firm , u will face same issue. Either you can also go for good MBA or do you own startup. Then u can be CEO and pay yourself anything you want.

I guess according to your experience you are getting expected salary even I will say way more.
How is it way more? When SA (<M1) is openly boasting salaries of 24 to 30L. If tomorrow a Jr. S/W Engineer from your firm gets higher than you, you will be fine with that?
Experience is irrelevant here, designation matters. M1 is higher than SA

I am getting just 19 at 10 yoe. And I know ppl with less yoe and dame techstack in my first are getting more. I just told according to your yoe.
Leave your job then
Good because good companies they don’t lowball you. Idk why in india there’s so much hush hush about salaries 😒 because there’s so much inconsistencies

You can tell your manager about this and they will give you a mid yr appraisal in September.
Also, I feel it's wrong for evaluating apples to oranges.
A guy with MBA might be considered with pay grade which is n+2 because they spent two years in a B-School.
Add a differential, if the B-School is T1.
Now, the designations across Big4's are based on YOE, but salaries aren't linear equations, they're multivariate in nature.
And hence, the difference !
I hope I could answer the reason for disparity. For more insights, contact your BUHC.
