I started interning right after I got my high school diploma because someone gave me the bad or good advice that it's sufficient for entry-level sales, and then I can work my way up. Is that true? Or should I look into educating myself further? I prefer not to, but not at the cost of not being able to better myself.

I was interviewed for a major tech player in the hospitality industry, had 2 interviews which for the first one the recruiter was late, and didn't confirm the interview while I emaild her to make sure I do have an interview.
