Unless I’m specifically told not to, I will always wear a suit for any interview
Blouse and blazer are my go-to. Invest in a few nice ones, and you’ll be golden. Nobody is making you stand and do a runway walk on Zoom, but show up nice.
I will never grade a person down for overdressing for the interview. I wouldn’t require a suit either, though — business casual and business professional are both fine.
Business casual is what my interviewers have always worn. I would be surprised if that’s not what yours will be wearing and what they would expect you to wear.
I’ve almost always worn a suit or at least shirt and tie, and most of the time (80%+) I was overdressed.
Business casual is fine for a first-round Zoom. Nice shirt/blouse, solid color, nothing crazy. You're overthinking. They're not going to reject you over a missing blazer as long as you look professional from the shoulders up.
Top hat and tuxedo, preferably with a monacle.
Clothes
Personally, I’ve worn suits. But I don’t expect the same when I’m the interviewer.
