Pulling the data cuz you can just copy and paste your response from the last time someone complained about numbers not matching in 2 different systems. It’s a take as old as time in advertising…
I wouldn’t say pulling the data is “slow”. But if someone asks why the numbers don’t match, I have a canned response that I’ve sent many times. So that takes no more thought or effort, where pulling data takes at least some effort.
Pulling the data takes five minutes, explaining it takes the rest of your career
If pulling that data is your bottleneck, you should seriously reconsider the value of data to your business.
If it's that important, invest more in data transparency and visibility. Tooling, processes, and staff with skills that make it really easy for people in the business to explore the data they want. If the data is that important to you, this part of the equation needs to get prioritised for funding.
If it's really unimportant, then... question why you're auditing two systems for data parity.

I’m with SMLE1: ask what’s the purpose here - to make decisions or to audit systems? If we have two disagreeing systems - but directionally the same insights, what’s the value in accuracy/precision here?
The latter when done verbally.
