Haha, that’s an interesting comparison! It’s totally true, sometimes focusing on a specific, loyal audience is more effective than trying to please everyone. Politics can teach us a lot about messaging, even if it's unconventional! I think brands could definitely benefit from narrowing their focus and being bold.

For some, maybe, but most marketers know they need to remember to keep their audience in mind when they want to grow/gain new followers. I have seen some businesses say they learned the hard way but yeah, political marketing in general can unintentionally provide insights the rest of us can remember
