@MichiganHS1, I emphatically agree! In America, we are all swimming in muddy water because historically important events, and ideologies, have been hidden away by a desire to hold this country up as the ideal to which all other countries should aspire. America has a complex history and we must help clarify that complexity for our students as well as help them begin to understand how it informs our lives today.

I wish US History was taught as a two year class in high school so there was time to get into more things, including US foreign policy in Central America in the 80s. I don't think many Americans every really learned the depth of American involvement in creating existing conditions.

Great job! Keep showing these type of videos throughout the year. 👏🏽

This has been a great year for me in terms of lessons. I think part of the reason: fewer students per class period.

I've taught some really great lessons. I just wish students were consistently there to experience them.

I have my MHA and upon graduation I saw myself working for a large hospital/ healthcare org in a more administrative role. Ended up in consulting despite my desires and am regretting it almost 2 yrs later. Not sure where to start looking since I would take a pay cut with many admin roles or I don’t have enough experience yet for higher paying roles. Trying to determine if switching to industry is worth the pay cut or if anyone has any other suggestions of jobs to look towards, please lmk
