Started my career at Lockheed right after college with a bachelor's in mechanical eng. After 2 years I got promoted to level 2. I have 4 years of experience overall at LM. My comp ratio is right below mid making about 96k. I have been rated "exceeded" for all my time at LM. I'm in PA. Am I being underpaid? Sometimes when I see some of the TC's on here I feel like I chose the wrong field.

Cost of living in KL varies depending on the type of lifestyle you’re looking for and where you intend to live. Eg. Mont kiara would be much more expensive vs subang which is more affordable
Having said that, I have colleagues who used to work in Accenture KL and they have said that pay is much lower than MBB there.

Having worked in an Asian country as a management consultant, a hard no. Ill hink for 10 seconds if they are paying at least double my current pay and say no
That's true for NE Asia but hardly applicable for SE Asia like Malaysia and Thailand.
Is 15000 ringgit a good benchmark for downtown lifestyle, no car, and still can eat out every day (food is cheap in hawker centers anyways)
15k a month - you can definitely have a good life, income tax is relatively low so take home is a good amount. Think nice apartment with gym and pool, eat out everyday, and you don’t really need a car to get around as there’s the equivalent of Uber (Grab, Airasia etc). You will definitely have enough for travel especially with budget flights to Bangkok, Bali etc.
For reference, ~RM15 for hawker centre meal plus a drink, ~RM50-80 for a nicer meal like Korean bbq, Japanese food etc
