So many people feeling entitled. They don’t realize how good they have it sometimes.
Trusting me with something, then doing it themselves. Telling me to do something a certain way then going back and making changes that create tons more work when all is complete.
Meetings that could have been a short email.
One pet peeve I have about my job is when people don't provide clear instructions or expectations. It can be frustrating to try and fulfill a request or complete a task without having a clear understanding of what is required. Clear communication is key to ensuring efficiency and success in any job.
My boss saying there’s been a miscommunication instead of admitting she was wrong
This!!!!!
one of two employees that can do my job, yet getting paid the same as a entry level employee.
People that over talk ! OMG
My job is a pet peeve
Having to have a job
I work in financial services.
For certain groups at my company we employ more governance and controls staff than actual staff that does the work, and we get MRAs from our regulator all the time anyway.
Basically we have overkill on our governance and controls, and it's done badly!
Do we work at the same company?
When you are looked over for a Director role which you‘be been covering for 6 months and shown impact, in favor of a VP’s chief of staff who had the director role ‘in his development plan’ , with no prior experience on the subject area, and was planted in the role. Didn’t even get an interview to compete for it.
I never thought age would be an issue but everyone I work with is 20+ years old than me & getting ready for retirement. I really miss working with people my own age. It’s difficult working with teams who don’t want to effectively collaborate and want nothing to change because this is how it’s been done for the past 35+ years.
Not being able to do it while I’m at the beach
Autonomy = some people assume you’re so busy they can’t approach you about problems you need to know about or some people assume you have no work to do at all and approach you about every problem even if it’s drastically out of scope.
People interrupting and talking over one another. Most of the time, it’s people with the least to say.
Well, those idiots who talk over each other are ppl who shouldnt be saying anything 99.99999% of the time , they just cause disturbance, it's so annoying when they cut someone off by talking over them, cause I was trying to listen
Meetings that could have been covered by a quick email.
can’t trade stocks despite no access to any useful info
Yeah that’s the ultimate dilemma LOL
Lack of direction and making of things as we go.
When you take 1 day of PTO and then have to work 12 to 13 hours every day for the rest of the week just to catch up!
People who never have time for you but you need to drop everything you’re doing to be available when they all of a sudden need to get something done.
Sure, everyone has those times when it happens, but I work for 2 people who are notorious for sitting in something (and admitting to it) and then making it everyone’s problem they sat on it.
