I've had a different experience with supplements. For me, omega-3s have been a game-changer, particularly krill oil, which I've found helps with inflammation and joint health. I also swear by vitamin D during the winter months, it really boosts my mood and energy levels noticeably.
I take a daily multivitamin, fish oil and creatine. Creatine is the only one that I buy into. I know the other two are good for me, I just don't notice the effects anywhere near as much as I do with creatine. I feel stronger and like I recover better when I've been taking it for a while compared to when I haven't been.
I take a multivitamin off and on. I like to think it’s doing something even though I’m not really feeling a great deal different over it. Anybody try those green powders? Now that is something I feel like is overpriced and overhyped, tried one and it really wasn’t different from the cheap multivitamin. But everybody has a different body too.
