I’m considering leaving Google to go work at a startup, I’m wondering if things don’t work out how easy it’d be to come back to Google. I’d love to hear from people who returned to Google how the process was. Does the company value your previous tenure at Google, or do they treat you like any external candidate who never worked at Google before?

Licensed Practical Nurse 1, if Information Technology is your goal, you may be suitable for Application Analyst I roles for such as Epic ASAP or Cupid or a Credentialed Trainer (https://healthcareitskills.com/epic-systems-modules) depending on your clinical background. I use Epic as an example since that's what my organization uses, but I have seen RNs transfer into these roles since they have knowledge on the clinical piece and are able to learn and adapt the workflow on the EHR system side.
