Hi, please help me getting 11❤ to unlock dm. Thanks!
I am Offered 29.5fixed by PwC for SA (L2). Currently on 25fixed. Should I join ? In terms of WLB.! My current employer on fishbowl shows Deloitte but have left Deloitte a year back. Currently in a firm with good WLB but PWFH is a big win for me that PwC is offering.
Any guidance or fist hand experience sharing is highly appreciated.

These are great answers, thank you!
Don’t say “people-manager.”
Actively encourage your team to take time off whether it’s PTO or sick days or even cutting out early because they’re been pulling late nights and working weekends.
Get to know how your people work. Their needs, quirks, habits etc. They are going to do things differently than you, and it isn’t (always) your job to fix those things. It’s your job to help them get the best out of the way they operate.
Be prepared to defend your team to your boss / management / leadership.
Be prepared for being a part time therapist. It’s a big part of the job, especially if you have younger / more junior employees.
Never ask your team to do something you aren’t willing to do yourself.
Remember things your previous managers did that made you feel good and try to do more of those.
Remember things your previous managers did that made you feel terrible and try to avoid those.
Realize that you work for the employees who actually generate revenue. Your role is support. They are not your subjects, not should they be treated as second-class citizens simply because your department may take orders from exec management.
Stay humble. You are not always right and that’s okay. But when you know your gut is right trust it. It’s a balancing act for sure. Treat your team how you wanted to be treated. And if you ask people to work late or weekends, you better be there with them.
Listen, really listen to those who report to you. Pay attention to their work styles — some people need a more hands-on mgr, some work better with more independence. Never, ever throw your people under the bus. Never ask them to do something you yourself are unwilling to do. Building trust is everything.
A huge part of management is knowing how to course-correct and coach your team to do better.
Don’t berate or lecture someone when they make mistakes. Be direct, be human, and guide them to ensure the same mistake isn’t made again.
If someone is afraid to fess up on account of an error, you are doing something wrong.
