Cisco interviewed me for 3 months for a couple of roles and then offered me comp that is considerably less than my current comp for a product manager role!! They also said its cisco policy to not offer rsu for mcol cities. Rsu is apparently only meant for candidates in hcol cities.
Need to punch a bag every day for several days to get over this bs.
Bain & Company Hi All. I am an Energy Engineer and 3 years of experience. I want to switch to a management consultancy because I think I would be a good fit for strategy consulting and want to move into ESG/Climate Financing. I would love to interview with your team if you’re looking to hire someone with this background (happy to share more via DMs).
The purpose of this post is to also ask for referrals so please let me know if I could reach out to you for that. TIA! McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group
Hey folks
I got a call from TCS to interview for a new unit formed within org with the name of Business Transformation Group as per new org restructuring. Anyone from TCS who can help to understand more about this?
Does it cater to only niche technologies or how does this actually function?

Try to relax. If you have the interview they already like your work, so go in with the confidence that there is already interest.
You might not have done anything wrong in your previous interviews. They’re always talking to more than one person, sometimes they get someone cheaper or they bring you into the process at a different time. Hiring has been so weird with “growing efficiencies” and jobs being there and then not being there.
TL/DR: don’t be too hard on yourself. It’s tough out there, but if you’re getting interviews, you’re getting close.
You’re only human. You’re nervous because you care, and that’s a good thing. And just know that the person on the other side can sense it. There’s nothing wrong with how you feel, and most people should be able to empathize. And if they don’t, you’re probably better off not working with them.
Getting the interview is half the battle. Realize they see something in you and feel good about it. Good luck!
They don’t know any of the other past results. Proceed as though none of those happened.
Just be yourself and remain calm. I conduct interviews all the time & know I've had a good conversation with someone if it exceeds the allotted time. The worst responses, I think, are the super short ones.
