He now owns 0.53% so at $95 a share that Microsoft is paying, that alone is $400 mil. But in 2020 alone his pay package was valued at 154 million (some of this is overlapping in his stake)!! Would be fun media story to add up his 1991-2022 comp to the $400 mil to see his total return from what was a fraction of $400k investment 30 years ago.

Tl/Dr. If you couldn't get hired as a cloud engineer or cloud consultant - you probably can't become a PM
