What’s the lowest salary I should accept? Cyber Consultant, 1.5 YOE on same blue chip client - been running the boots on ground operation since SC left in December. SM and Partner very supportive. What amount of TC should I expect (ex: walk away from anything less than $X)? Eyeing leaving Deloitte for industry as I have no more desire to be stuck on the same client. Current TC: 75/3, Dallas

Finally left TCS last week and feel the most happiest person ever.TCS was my 4th organisation and I had joined TCS to settle for long term but after 1 year I realised this is the worst organisation one can be with.No first year hike for laterals, no support provided to hard working dedicated employees, only support and leaves are gifted to employees who do nothing and know nothing except dodging work and getting escalations from clients.Forced wfo, forced completion of useless trainings etc.

Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

In a similar boat as you and receiving offers outside of D for 95-110k @ 1.5 YOE.
Only reason I’m kicking the ball on responding to the offers is because I’m up for SC; once the promo + merit raise plus AIP come in its a <30% raise to jump firms (which is what I personally set my bar at).
We’ll see what the “record YE compensation” looks like..
Other cyber/tech consulting firms.
Not ready to jump to industry yet but do have colleagues who have transitioned to industry and enjoy what they do (and they are handsomely compensated vs Deloitte).
No one outside of your project leadership at Deloitte will know how strongly you're supporting your team, so it's a bit hard to use that as your proof point for higher pay.
Ah ok, the challenge is you won't have leverage if they give you something less than what you think you're worth. You'll need a competing offer.
I’m leaving for a software engineering role but got $115K with 1.5 YOE
I left Deloitte cyber to a tech company for 135k TC, 2 years of experience
Thanks. What position/company did you move into? Location?
It doesn‘t matter where you go. Incentivized by money is not a very strong motivation and will never make you happy with your job
