What’s the most useless wellness perk you’ve seen? My current perks include a meditation app subscription and a random webinar on “managing stress at work.” I don’t need a guided meditation to fix my stress. I need realistic workloads, fewer fake-urgent requests, and managers who actually notice when people are stretched too thin. Curious what other “wellness” perks people have seen that completely missed the point.

All the online “mental health” resources. To be fair, I’ve never used them but I can’t imagine they’re too useful.

They actually are useful when that's the right help for what you need. For example, if you're going through a divorce, the EAP can be invaluable for the legal assistance, the counseling, and the financial planning if your plan offers it.

"Unlimited PTO".

Agree! In my experience, this one always backfires for the employee

This is a very typical problem: using meditation to solve structural stress. Often, it's not that employees can't relax, but rather that the job design itself makes it impossible to truly relax

True!

Recently relocated to USA. Looking for a job in Private equity Accounting in California as Fund Accountant Manager. Any leads and also, how much salary should I expect?

Advice needed on handing in notice, I recently signed an offer letter and understand the screening process takes 4-6 weeks. I have a month's notice period and have agreed a preliminary start date in Feb.

I was planning on not handing my notice in until the checks had been completed so its all secured (not that I think I will fail any checks), but apparently I need a reference from my current employer not previous ones. Can't really do this without handing in notice can I?
