PwC and KPMG are business for all staff in that instance
I think at all major firms except WITCH, staff of any level would be business class on NY to India.
At Accenture it’s Manager and above for a flight that far. Odds of anyone lower making that trip is very low.
I worked at Capgemini for a bit. While they aren’t technically a WITCH, it was VP and above that booked business for a trip even of that length. They aren’t technically an absolute trash firm.
GT is business for all flights >3 hours
Same.
ZS Ps business others in Ps’ discretion
Business for all flights >6-8 hours (6 for client work, 8 for internal firm activities)
IBM policy is only economy. But I had always got it approved for that distance (although it’s entirely dependent on your manager, and sorry if your manager is a lifer, most managers who have come from outside will approve it.). I have always traveled Business for that distance since I had a manager who didn’t care. Within US becomes a bit of a stretch to get approval for business travel even if it’s Miami to Seattle . Ridiculous business travel policies at IBM.
