Hey fishes,
Let’s say Brillio gave some joining bonus and if we are leaving within an year we need to pay it back.
So does it mean I need to put papers after one year or is that okay to put papers after 9 months, so serving 3 months notice makes it one year.
Please let me know if anyone had an idea about this.

Op I think it will be difficult to swing SC, even if you’re ready. They usually want 4-5 years experience for SC, at a minimum.
OP how many years of total exp are you at? Definitely wouldn't move from Slalom to D though, you'll miss the work life balance you had at Slalom for sure
Top of band estimates: C = 115, SC = 155. 155 will only be 2nd year target school MBA, or else top of band is more like 135 for folks with non target school MBA or no MBA at all. At Deloitte, a non target school MBA is about as well regarded as a participation trophy from a bumper bowling league.
Op - make no mistake, they will definitely try to level you down. How many years of experience do you have? It also sounds like you are on a ‘specialist’ track - this might give you tremendous leverage in your negotiations with Deloitte.
C and SC are different levels with different pay bands
Op - most consultants will not exceed 115k. SC has a much higher ceiling
@M1 I understood that, perhaps I could have been more clear that I was looking for the two paybands for C and SC
@D1 thanks, that seemed to be the case. This is for an SC role and I certainly think I'm ready for that level. I'm have been the sole determinant of how all things in my work stream are developed/deployed/governed, regularly meet with directors at the client in an SME capacity. Some friends have told me they've had experiences with "pretentious deloitte recruiters" who, in one way or another, implied that experience elsewhere is worth less at deloitte, ie. SC elsewhere is maybe a good C at deloitte.
My current firm is Slalom. Makes no sense to move to worse work life balance only to come in at the top of C payband (currently make 120k), would only be worth it if I came in as an SC. I am maybe 2 years out from making solution principal.
Top of SC band are MBAs. I’m close to the top of the first year non MBAs around 125. Make the jump!
About 4 years but only 2 have been in consulting. Also I only graduated undergrad 2 years ago. I am somewhat of an expert in my skillset and have carried my workstream in complex projects independently. My strategy to overcome the short number of years I've been out of school has always been to focus the discussion around the type of work I've done, the responsibilities I've had, and the size /scope of my projects. It's how I got a great offer from Slalom. We'll see what they come back to me with. I had a decent phone screening with a recruiter that acknowledged the quality of my experience and my expertise.
That's a great salary for 2 years out of undergrad. My 2 cents is to stay with Slalom till you hit Solution Architect then reassess your options
Atlanta/Houston /Dallas? Currently being poached for my experience as a Data Visualization and Power BI SME. Glassdoor says top of the payband for C/SC is 118k/147k. Is this accurate?
You’ll be a C
@C1 that's what I was leaving towards, thanks everyone
