What's the weirdest interview question you've been asked or heard asked? I had a boss who liked to throw in a random math problem (like, "What's 15 percent of 30?") just to throw people off. I hated how uncomfortable it made people, even if they answered correctly.

Currently scheduling “on sites” for a S&O role in CA. My referrer said they can hire as L5 or L6. Would like to land in the L6 bucket as I’ve heard 5 --> 6 is one of the more challenging promotions.

I’m looking for info on what the real difference is in responsibilities (manager vs IC, cross functional vs focused, etc) so I can focus on checking the L6 boxes during my interviews.

I’m also curious about whether this is something that I should just discuss with my recruiter directly?
