That’s very doable, you’ll be busy but not to the point of stress and hair pulling. I have about 150 right now but that includes medical malpractice and other varying cases including federal 1983
For PI that’s doable. Also you didn’t mention if lit or prelit or mix. I managed about 90-100 lit cases before. Prelit much more.
You can totally handle it
Mine is about that. Well over 150 with files I share with my partner. Insurance defense work. So car accidents, slip n falls, police misconduct, fire loss, cemetery negligence, reservation of rights, some criminal defense on my own.
I depends on the complexity of the cases. For low to medium value you’ll be fine. The key is for the cases to be staggered well so you don’t have too many at the same stage.
30-40. Nursing Home Negligence and a few MedMal.it’s my limit
I agree, that’s a good #. I have about 125 and it’s manageable
Depends on the value of your cases. I have managed cases well in the 200 range before both Prelit and lit combined with car accidents, slip and falls, med mal, and TBI… it was insanity. At the firm that I’m of counsel to, I have about 10 active cases and 80 dormant cases, but my 10 cases are worth over $20mil. If it’s just run of the mill car wrecks with soft tissue, that’s probably doable.
That's doable...easily. my attorneys, with two paralegals, handle up to 300 injury files...mixed between litigation and pre-lit.
I've managed 150-175 with about 85/15 prelit and lit cases, using Needles it was very manageable, Ive moved to new firm where caseload is 300+
