I’ve always had to do them in interviews, but also don’t love that they’ve usually been ‘free thinking’ and often intensive, or don’t really help you understand their thinking.

I interviewed at KPMG, CTC part already discussed, I clearly mentioned I’m holding offer and I’m expecting 20-30% hike on my offer and he agreed and proceeds my profile.
I cleared 1st technical round and second round interviewers asked my expectations and same I replied. Then he talk very unprofessional and also he is explaining how much they have effort for conducting one interview and here you’re doing shopping. He ended the interview.
What about our efforts and time?

I had an in person interview on Friday morning and sent a thank you email eod Friday. Now I’m wishing I would have asked when to expect to hear back. It was a panel interview with a smaller municipality. How do people deal with the wait game, how long do I wait before reaching out? I felt very good about it but now each day that passes I feel less confident! Help!

Cont… Friday came and went no communication. I allowed another weeks to pass and then sent another follow up email. She responded by apologizing not following up and informed me that recruiting handles that part of the process . What i didn’t mention was she had told me that if I get the position she would let me know and if I didn’t get it she would still give me a call .
