I interviewed with Firm A months ago and accepted a position to start this upcoming fall. Group leader called me to offer the position back in November 2020. Besides interviewing with partners at the firms, and diligent follow ups notifying them of my interest to get started, no communication has transpired since. It turns out that I accepted a better offer w/ Firm B for personal reasons and won’t be going to Firm A. What is the best way to notify Firm A? Call/email group leader? Call/email HR?

I have changed Infosys within 7 months. Now, I don't want to switch this early. Can somebody tell me about the good points, pros in FIS. I really want to change my mindset so that I feel happy here and can give back something to organization.FIS Global

I’m going to be so honest and cynical for a sec.. unless I’m working with an extremely experienced client, the kick off/initial briefing is usually so far off base from where the job ends up that it’s not worth asking questions. You always get clearer direction and the “real” brief after the first creative presentation.
What brands/recent work do you admire? (You can learn alotttt about their appetite and taste for good work on this q)
And that in of itself is a learning. Sounds like the same client that would ask for something to ‘go viral’.
But yeah taste is different than creative appetite but to me it’s helpful to know if your client has absolutely no idea what makes great work.
I think you can steer the convo to make it a productive one.
