When is WFH ending ?
I see several posts from people asking how they can help during these times with a few extra $$$ to spend. Here is just one of many ideas.

#stepuptothetable is about helping local restaurants who are struggling during these times. I have seen numerous linkedin posts with videos where people challenge each other to step up to the table & buy meals & gift cards from their community restaurants. A great way for those of us who are more fortunate to support business & keep people employed.

5000
2400 max. That's what we have now and it's too big.
No kids. 2 adults and a dog

We have 4,500 sq ft on 6 acres and it’s a good size. Plenty of space for 3 kids. I’d organize it differently if it were from scratch but it’s a good size. I love having the outdoor space as well as the kids have plenty of room to roam and play sports.

Saw your post. We are in MA so our area doesn’t meet your “doesn’t get too cold” requirement. 🥶

I have 4,000SF on 17,000SF lot and that has been fine. Next house likely smaller since kids are out.
Currently have 2600 with two kids. Ideally no more than like 3500 of heated/cooled space. I hate the idea of constantly paying to heat and cool a large house when we take up such a little amount of the space.
I currently have 2,500 sq ft house, and that is, frankly, a tad too much. 2,200 would probably be ideal. I have about 700 sq ft of unfinished space, which is the reason we have the house we do.
I also don't like to own "land". The maintenance and upkeep is always a drain. Ironically, current lot is 1 acre! But, about two-third of that is designated conservation area, not to be modified. I'm more than happy with one-third acre.
My 2,000 sf house, which is paid for. We are empty nesters.
Just got our “raise our kids here” house late last year. 5800 sqft and .38 acres. It’s a very good size, I like to have a lot of space. It is set up to allow lots of things we want and give the kiddos (baby and 3 year old) lots of areas to play and have their spaces when they grow older.
I really like the space, could use more lol.
A suburb of Salt Lake City, UT. I’m about 15 minutes from downtown SLC.
