I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.
Should I stay or should I go?

Definitely helps to get a referral from someone higher up. A director has more control over the hiring than a manger than an analyst, etc.
Also depends on what role you are trying to fill. If you want to be an analyst, a manager referral will do fine. Manager? Probably try to get a director level referral... all about who you know
If the company has retained a recruiter to fill the role, it changes the dynamic significantly. Recruiters earn a significant fee to source and vet candidates, and are naturally reluctant so see an outside candidate end up with the job. If you learn that a recruiter is involved, the safest bet would be to have your referrer connect you with the recruiter, and then earn the recruiter’s endorsement vs their immune response
Meh. I don't think it is so much the level. I've rejected partner referrals. But, the higher up the better chance they know the right recruiter and project manager to throw your resume at. That is the most important thing. But even a bta can get it right.
