I just gave my friend what she called a stress kit/also exchange of gifts for Christmas. I had lots of extra fidgets of all kinds from work. If I worked a student who was anxious, or angry I always let them try all these different fidgets/squishy ball in my office. Then they had to pick their favorite. Whatever they picked I’d run out and get them.
This is what I learned- Isoflex stress ball is by far the best for both anxiety/anger, and it’s the original stress ball. It offers good proprioceptive input. Sensory input idea calming. Clenching of teeth is proprioceptive input too.
Small fidgets are easier to manage and play with inconspicuously
Finger fidgets are easy to use and fiddle with.
Sometimes, no joke if you have a piece of ribbon or a texture that you like (ribbon, Velcro, bubble fidget etc) rubbing it is sensory input too, which is calming. Just a small square. This is often used w kids who have deeper sensory issues but it does work-doesn’t matter the age…. brushing their arms w an infant baby brush. It’s very calming to many.
Good luck! I hope this helps. If I think of anything else I’ll post

Do you mean if coworkers and customers are stressed and being rude? At work because I am in the help profession and have PTSD I'm good at calming people down and understanding because I've been through it. If my PTSD is especially flaring I try to remember to see a friend and talk to my therapist for a extra session. But overall, the US isn't very kind or understanding so as the amazing VF said, when you cant change the situation you can only change yourself...not easy to do.
