I really think they need to implement some legislation and safeguards around this whole AI thing. So many companies are banking on being able to replace their entire entry-level workforce with robots, and they’re hiring accordingly. I just can’t even fathom what that’s going to do to the economy and the job market moving forward, maybe forever, without some legislation in place to protect workers.
I hope it will. I'm not expecting it to, though. Things have been so bad for so long that it's hard to be optimistic they'll change just because the calendar flips from '25 to '26.

Good question. It feels like everyone’s waiting to see if things turn around in the new year. Fingers crossed next year brings better opportunities for all of us.

I think it'll just constantly decline until something crashes. Just got to remain optimistic and hope for the best.

I hate to be pessimistic but I’m not sure it will get better unless the economy really turns around. Many businesses just aren’t expanding because they can’t afford to, hence no one’s really hiring. Many businesses are even posting fake job postings to make it seem like they’re doing well, to investors and prospective candidates. We just have to keep applying and navigate this the best way we can
