When I look at my houseplants they all look random. Do y'all plan out which species to get or is more like me whatever comes your way?

💯 based on impulse buys, gifts
, or trying to save other people’s dying plants. Totally random. I just embrace it.

Whatevet looks good to you. Now I wouldn’t mix a cactus with a fern. That’s just me.

It’s great if you can get a flowering plant that adds some colors. Colors are fine to mix.

I have been grouping my plants together based on type so have different little areas

Honestly for me its strictly on vibes when I go plant shopping. I really just look around and try to choose things that aren't super hard to take care of or require to be watered more frequently than once a week. Then I just pick from what they have.

Impulse buys lol. I’ll figure out watering and light schedule later

Haha same here

Really odd, the bottom leaf on my fiddle turned yellow REALLY fast, most of the rest of the leaves seem fine. It’s right in an east facing window with maybe 1-2 hours of direct sun per day the. Tons of ambient lighting the rest of the day. Pls help!

Hi all! What would you do with this indoor yucca? I never expected it to live in the first place, and now she’s 5 feet tall! The stems are getting gnarly and curving. Should I trim this plant, or get some wire to help it grow straighter? Maybe this is just how they grow 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hello folks, I’m after some advice please. I recently bought a couple of indoor plants and added to the cart what I think is a very expensive bottle of natural mist to use on the leaves. All organic, glass bottle etc. supposed to use it 2-3 times per week but 2 weeks in I’m down to half a bottle and it was £15 (approx $20). I understand that I need to nurture the plants but it strikes me as a rather expensive mist. Is there anything you’d recommend I can use instead? Thanks.
