At this point it does not even matter to me. I have come to realize unless I hit the jackpot I’m gonna be paying forever. Besides my home it is the next biggest debt
Same here 😔
2 more years and I'm done! I used to do that too but I stopped after realising it causes me a lot of unnecessary anxiety. I needed to find a way to declutter my mind so one of the first things I stopped doing was the constant check. You'll be done when you're done. Don't stress about it too much.
I don't check on it, I just know I'll be paying for the foreseeable future and that's that. No point in even thinking about it beyond that. If you're actually checking every day that's pretty extreme. It doesn't seem like a very healthy habit, to be honest.
I’m also constantly checking mine, it’s like I can’t stop until it’s gone. Right now I have 12 more years though :/ The debt just hangs over me. Trying to remember that progress is progress. And I've been focusing on setting small, celebratory milestones along the way could help make it feel less overwhelming!
I'll be done next month! It took me ten years. Doubled the minimum payment and applied a portion of annual bonuses to it.
First off I am incredibly jealous of anybody who has an end date or a date their student loans we paid off last I checked. I’m on the 30 some of your payoff plan and I know that’s only getting worse cause interest rates are out of control so yes, super jealous. Congratulations that you can see the end insight
