I start to get rid of redundant information. So if I had an entry level position, got a better sounding title, but still could put the experience and responsibilities, that is when it is time for me to get rid of it. Also been sticking to a one page resume, I don’t know that I would stretch to two pages to include an intern role.
If it's taking space that could be put to better use, strike it. Or condense it severely. Just putting you were an intern and where you interned is all you need to do. No need to list the various duties, that would be assumed by anyone reading it.
I have always been advised to drop anything that was more than 8 to 10 years old as it becomes less than relevant so unless you need the keywords or something I would say now is a good time to get rid of it. I mean, internships just don’t matter once you have a few years of real life experience.
Nothing past 10 years is relevant
