Any tips on negotiating my raise? I have a check-in with a partner this week where we will discuss my raise. I just finished my first year at a consulting firm with ~4K employees. The average raise from first to second year seems to be 6.5% but I really want to gun for 10%. I have good reviews and the best chargeability metrics in my starting class. How do I frame my target raise without sounding arrogant about my charge stats or tone deaf about the current environment?

Hi all! I have been a Registered Nurse for about 6 years, specializing in Hematology and Oncology, and I am currently looking to transition out of the nursing role. I would love to hear advice from anyone else who has done this and what career path they chose. Thank you in advance!

Hi everyone. I am posting to find out what Registered Nurses are starting off at in Florida per hr? Specifically Registered Nurses in the speciality area of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Also, What should a nurse with 7 years of experience be making per hr? Thank you!!! Xx

Anybody work for Parallon HCA? I’m wondering what they pay you as a virtual registrar if you’re a non Hispanic versus if you are a Hispanic person. Starting they have offers for pay of $21. I’ve noticed with some healthcare companies they do not want to pay for a bilingual differential which is poor professional behavior in my opinion.

When I did my internship my professor assisted in placing me. Can you ask for assistance with finding a virtual internship? I
As a public health professional who has taken on many interns in the past, I would recommend reaching out to your local nonprofit hospital, specifically the community health/benefits department. Get involved with your regional/state/local public health association. Reach out to your local health department.
I am uncertain about what 'virtual' internship opportunities there are. It will really depend on the status of the office and if they are working remotely or not. I require my interns to be actively engaged in the community we are serving through volunteer and community events - which means being present. But the day-to-day work can be done remotely.
