It will be a single holding company, which means IPG would cease to exist. For example, McCann, FCB, and others would become Omnicom agencies—if they survive and aren’t merged with BBDO, TBWA, or similar networks.
You’ll be working for a bunch of A$$#@!€$
I’m at IPG (for now 😢) but from what I’ve seen of omnicom combining all of their stuff into a single group - like what they’ve done with their production arm - I can only imagine EVERYTHING is going to be Omnicom
Oh wow it’s the legacy brands too 😬. Not a good look. It’ll be divided into health, consumer, pr and marketing etc. streamline everything. Then each agency will be a squad all within one to manage conflicts.
IPG will be reshuffled to PIG and Omnicom will be shorten to Omni
and when merged to be OMNI PIG
I have no knowledge.
But just looking at it objectively, the point of the merger was to get more scale (and billings) and theoretically cut costs by removing what’s duplicated (whether you call it efficiency or blood letting is up to you). So I would think that having a separate corporate structure would defeat the purpose.

IPG disappears. It won't be a division of Omnicom. The agencies remain unless they get sold or merged.
It will be similar to what’s happened at WPP
